why are we acting as if city life is good for our bodies?
poor air and water quality, noise pollution, high crime rates...
if certain developments in cities mean that some people have to live in places that have more trees and less buildings
how is that instantly a bad thing?
granted i do not want to live in the country (again)
it was cool for the run-around tree-climbing benefits but I'm grown
if I’m unable to sustain myself in a city because of
more modern and expensive houses existing there now
(that don’t have mold asbestos more ventilation, more security)
looks like i need to take a breath of fresh air
and its okay
we still have cars and the internet (maybe) (but if it gets expensive maybe you can afford it now that your bills are cheaper in the outskirts)...
you are not doomed to picking cotton again just because you’re not sitting in traffic to go to Target now.
maybe now we’ll have more sleepovers because we live too far away to go home that same day now!
really get to know our friends, family again
can sit outside more, try our hand at gardening, your dog can run around a little bit…
just a thought
